From The Rims

I liked this picture because the sky represents the "Big Sky Country." I also liked this picture because with the sun shinning through the tree it makes the tree look like a silhouette.

Swirly Wood

This was taken at Riverfront Park September 15th, 2012 with a Nikon Coolpix 7600. This is my favorite pictures that I took during this trip because I love the design left in the wood of the tree by insects. I also love that it looks like art, but it's naturally occurring.

Riverfront Flowers

I took this picture on September 15th 2012 at Riverfront Park with a Nikon Coolpix 7600. I really liked this picture because of the way you can see the insects in the background on the other flowers, and one is in focus off center in the frame.

Branding

I took this picture at the May 2009 branding with a Nikon Coolpix 7600. I love the contrast of the flame color with the black of the calf.

Massachusetts beach

This is of the beach outside of the vacation home I stayed in in 2010 in Massachusetts. It is the most spectacular beach, and looks exactly like beaches on postcards. I took many pictures while I stayed, this being one of my favorites.(Taken with a Nikon Coolpix 7600)

Ranch View

This was taken in May of 2012 at the ranch, taken with a Nikon Coolpix 7600. This is my favorite view in the world. It's very calming and I loved the way the picture got the sides of the cattle-guard as well as the blue sky. Overall I just loved the way it instantly makes me think of Montana's beautiful scenery.

Branding Iron

This is another branding picture I took in May of 2010 at the ranch during the branding. Also taken with a Nikon Coolpix 7600, I loved the angle in this one and the way the smoke curled without completely fogging the picture up.

U-Cross

I took this picture in May of 2009 at my family branding at our ranch in Birney, MT. It was taken using a Nikon Coolpix 7600. It's my favorite place in the world to be and I love taking pictures there. Branding reminds me of family and serves as my idea of a representation of being from Montana.
